    I don't know about that Malcolm Gladwell theory from Outliers that states you have to put in 10,000 hours at something before you can really say you're adept at it. It seems true, but, really, who knows for sure? I do know, though, that it wasn't until I started this series some twenty years ago, during the early years of the Clinton administration, that I stopped developing  and overthinking my style and just started utilizing it, and by that time I'd been practicing my craft for a good twenty years, ten thousand hours at least. When I stopped worrying and started singing, in other words.  It's at that point when the art of writing really got fun for me.
